All Progressives Congress candidate in the forthcoming Osun State governorship election, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as the winner of the just concluded APC Presidential Primary Election held nationwide.
He ddescribed the President’s landslide victory as a reflection of his visionary and transformative leadership, which he said has positively reshaped the socioeconomic fortunes of the country since assuming office.
Tinubu was declared winner of the APC presidential primary at the party’s collation centre in Abuja after reportedly polling over 10.9 million votes to defeat his co-contender, Mr. Stanley Osifor.
In a statement on Sunday in Osogbo following the announcement of the primary election results, Oyebamiji said the President’s victory further affirmed the enduring impact of the current administration across critical sectors of the economy.
He expressed heartfelt congratulations to Tinubu for what he described as his unwavering commitment to national growth, development and prosperity, noting that the APC-led Federal Government has continued to place Nigeria on the path of sustainable socioeconomic transformation.
“With a heart full of excitement, I personally rejoice with our leader, mentor, political pathfinder and father of the nation, our very own Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on his well-deserved victory and politically merited emergence at the nationwide APC presidential primary election,” he stated.
According to Oyebamiji, Tinubu’s victory was not accidental but a testament to his purposeful leadership, which he said has rekindled hope among Nigerians and restored the country’s image as a formidable and vibrant nation.
“As one of your mentees under your evergreen political tutelage, I am proud to identify with your great achievements and immense contributions to nation-building. Your patriotic political ideology, genuine commitment, dedication and steadfastness toward the emancipation of Nigerians for progress and prosperity have earned you an unmatched status,” he added.
He further described the President as “a patriotic nationalist, advocate for social justice, political trailblazer, bridge-builder and crusader for good governance and democratic ideals.”
Oyebamiji prayed for continued divine wisdom, sound health and longevity for the President as he prepares for another electoral contest.
“As your re-election bid begins with this landslide victory at the primary, I pray Almighty Allah continues to grant you wisdom, strength and good health to keep serving humanity and our great nation for many more prosperous years,” he said.
