*In the journey of life, you will be better by far when compared with your mates and peers, if you pay attention to the following nuggets of power, helpful for the mental, spiritual and psychological well-being of people.*
*Please ponder on the following, and let them be instructive in your life endeavours :*
*i) Always be honest, even when it is very difficult to do so. Always remember : for those who fail to live by honesty, it takes just one day of truth for the falsehood of 20 years to be established.*
*ii) Take responsibility for your actions. It shows how much you have matured, and how responsible you are, and how much you could be trusted with things of value.*
*iii) Never engage yourself in indulgence. Always remember :*
*1 Corinthians 10: [23]All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.*
*The greatest fall of David started from self indulgence :*
*2 Samuel 11:[1] And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.*
*iv) Don’t involve yourself in laziness. Know that no matter how talented the lazy man is, he is still going to the rock bottom one day. The lazy can’t keep himself too long at the top :*
*Prov. 12: [27] The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.*
*v) Speak up for what is right, even if you stand alone :*
*John 8: [32] And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.*
*vi) Respect everyone you meet in your journey of life, regardless of how lowly their status may be.*
*vii) Learn to control your emotions. A man without control over his emotions, is like a beautiful car without a break system :*
*Prov 25: [28] He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.*
*viii) Learn to keep your words, it is what defines what type of character you are made of.*
*ix) Listen more than you always speak. It regulates so much about who you really are :*
*James 1:[19] Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:*
*x) Confidence comes from preparation, learn to prepare well ahead. And from the standpoint of preparation, build up your confidence :*
*Isaiah 30:[15] For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.*
*xi) Apologize when and where you are wrong, only God is infallible.*
*xii) Others may play the game by other means, know that there will always be a way for the diligent :*
*Proverbs 22:[29] Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.*
*Among others you may have in your kitty, please allow these nuggets of power to be part of your guiding instructions of life.*
