No sinner will go unpunished

Reflection for the day

By Olubunmi Adebayo

*The devil craftily misrepresented the instruction of God to Eve in the garden of Aden.*

*The devil told her that she would surely not die if she ate the forbidden fruit God prohibited her and the husband from eating. But rather, her eyes would be opened, and she would be like the gods, knowing what is good and evil.*

*Maybe the words of the devil that she would “be like the gods knowing what is good and evil” prompted her to let down her watchfulness.*

*In the curiosity of finding out if this was true or not, Eve ate the forbidden fruit, forgetting that to eat the forbidden fruit is to disobey God, and face the consequences of that.*

*Please know this : it does not matter what justification you have fot your involvement in that iniquity, you will never escape the punishment for such, no matter how smart you think you are or powerful you may be.*

*Unrighteousness and criminality may go unpunished for several days, at times for many years, but let no one be deceived, indeed let no unrighteous fellow be deluded that he will escape unpunished.*

*The truth is, as the days grow older, and the shadows fall gradually behind a man, the fruits of the seeds of iniquity will begin to be fully served on the wicked, individually or collectively, male or female, young or old.*

*Man by position and accomplishment, may be well assured that their ready way of escape from punishment is fully guaranteed, but at the end of the day, they will discover that “hands joined together, no sinner will go unpunished.”*

*Today, many are facing the consequences of the iniquities and wickedness of yesterday, while tomorrow, several will face the outcome of their misdeeds of today.*

*It is possible that the meal of iniquity may be sweet at the palate of those working unrighteousness, it sure will turn into bitterness when least expected.*

*Let all men therefore be weary of dealing in iniquity and criminality. The consequences can be drastic and colossal, directly upon a man, or indirectly upon his offspring.*

*Again, let me repeat the quote above : “hands joined together, no sinner shall go unpunished” -Prov 11:21.*

Top of the day to you 👍
