The Permanent Chairman of the Southern Nigerian Traditional Rulers Council (SNTRC), Arole Oodua Olofin Adimula and Natural Head of the Oduduwa Race worldwide, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has congratulated Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke on the occasion of his 66th birthday anniversary.
The monarch praised Adeleke for his developmental strides and people-oriented leadership in Osun State.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by the Director of Media and Public Affairs at the Ooni’s Palace, Otunba Moses Olafare, the monarch, who is also the Permanent Co-Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN), described Adeleke as a cheerful and humble leader whose administration has continued to promote peace, unity and steady development across the state.
The royal father commended the governor’s commitment to infrastructural development, youth empowerment and preservation of cultural heritage, noting that his leadership style has endeared him to many residents of Osun State.
Ooni Ogunwusi further noted that Governor Adeleke’s cordial relationship with traditional institutions has greatly enhanced stability, mutual understanding and harmonious coexistence in the state.
According to the monarch, the governor has remained accessible and responsive to the needs of the people since assuming office in 2022, adding that his simplicity and dedication to public service distinguish his administration.
“On behalf of the House of Oduduwa, the people of Ile-Ife and the traditional institution in Yorubaland, I celebrate my dear Governor Ademola Adeleke on his 66th birthday anniversary.
“We appreciate his commitment to the progress and development of Osun State and pray that Almighty God grants him more wisdom, strength and sound health for greater service to humanity,” the Ooni stated.
