Synergy and coordination among party structures and affiliated groups are critical to securing overwhelming electoral victory in future polls, according to the Ondo State chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde.
A statement by the party’s state spokesman, Mr Steve Otaloro, on Monday, said Babatunde stated this while receiving a delegation of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, led by Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, during a courtesy visit to the APC State Secretariat.
The delegation reportedly said the visit aimed at strengthening alignment with the party leadership and formally informing the APC of the group’s activities, including its forthcoming launch in Ondo State.
According to the statement, Olabimmtan, who spoke on behalf of the group, stressed “the commitment of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to operate strictly within the framework and leadership of the APC.
“He described the group as an extension of the party, focused on promoting its ideals and advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“He added that the group was prepared to intensify grassroots mobilization through sensitization campaigns, market outreach, and community engagement, with the goal of contributing meaningfully to the party’s electoral success in the state. He also assured that the group would maintain discipline and remain loyal to party authority in all its activities.”
Otaloro said that while responding, Babatunde “described the visit as timely and politically significant, stressing that effective collaboration between the party and support groups would play a decisive role in achieving the APC’s electoral objectives.
“He reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive leadership and party unity, noting that all stakeholders must prioritize the collective interest of the party.
“According to him, strong coordination and cooperation would be instrumental in delivering the party’s strategic goals in the state.
“The APC chairman also expressed confidence in the leadership of President Tinubu, stating that the Renewed Hope Agenda remains on track in repositioning the country for sustainable growth and development.
“He urged the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to sustain their mobilization efforts and extend their support across all levels of the party’s electoral engagements, emphasizing that total victory for the APC remains a shared objective.”
