*Allowing God to fight for you when you have every means of fighting very well for yourself can be very difficult.*
*The above is majorly challenging for individuals whose trust and root in God is not quite deep, forgetting what Apostle Paul said in :*
*2 Cor 10: [4] For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.*
*May I let you know that twice David appeared foolish to his lieutenants and the security details guiding him when he refused to kill King Saul when the opportunities presented itself to him.*
*You need to understand that one of the most difficult decisions for man to take in life, is allowing God to take over his battles, and fight for him. This can really be difficult, especially for a man who has the chance of fighting for himself or means of finishing off the whole matter.*
*We must never forget that God is the ultimate fighter in the business of fighting for us. HE hits far better than anyone could ever imagine.*
*After several years of enduring different humiliating experiences during their enslavement in the land of Egypt, could the children of Israel imagine that the final punishment for King Pharaoh of Egypt and his best soldiers was to perish by drowning in the Red Sea? They couldn’t have imagined such a punishment for such a high mobile force. It was way beyond their imagination.*
*The nature of man is such that we want to use whatever is within our means, including what we have and what we do not have but which we have access to, to fight for ourselves. Yet, God says “vengeance is mine” – (Rom.12:19)*
*One thing about God in the business of fighting for His children is that “He knows how, when and where to best avenge His own”.*
*Please permit me to ask you these germain questions :*
*1) “which one are you prepared for : fight for yourself or allow God to fight for you?”*
*2) “Does God know you enough that He will be willing to fight for you? You must remember that it is not everybody that God goes about fighting for – you have His conditions to meet.”*
*3) “How much do you go about your life activities hurting others?”*
*Question 3 above is important because you can’t go about hurting others or living in unrighteousness and expect God to fight for you.*
*It is just not possible.*
Top of the day to you 👍
