IGP Rilwan Disu

The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has approved a fresh redeployment of Commissioners of Police across various state commands and formations nationwide.
The postings, conveyed through a wireless message marked “Most/Immediate,” signal a strategic reshuffle within the Nigeria Police Force aimed at strengthening operational efficiency and security coordination.
According to the directive, CP Olubode Ojajuni has been deployed to the Ogun State Command, while CP Tijani Olaiwola Fatai takes over in Lagos State. CP Michael Adegoroye Falade has been posted to Ekiti State.
In other key changes, CP Muhammed Sanusi Ahmed has been assigned to head the Federal Capital Territory Command, while CP Olugbenga Ayodeji Abimbola moves to Oyo State.
Additional postings include CP Haruna Alaba Yahaya to Jigawa State, CP Yemi John Oyeniyi to Delta State, and Yakubu Useni Dankaro to Adamawa State.
Others affected by the redeployment are CP Morkwap S. Dongshal to Taraba State, CP Ahmed Mohammed Bello to Zamfara State, Umar Ali Fagge to Katsina State, and CP Mayatu Shaffa Hassan to Sokoto State.
Meanwhile, CP Betty Enekpen Otimenyin has been redeployed to Welfare at the Force Headquarters, while CP Aina Adesola moves to the Department of Training and Development at the Force Headquarters.
The police high command directed all affected departments and formations to update their records accordingly, as the new postings take immediate effect.
The redeployment is part of ongoing efforts by the IGP to reposition the force for improved service delivery and enhanced internal security nationwide
