The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has rejoiced with the Muslim community over the successful completion of the annual fasting exercise.
In a statement on Thursday by its state spokesman, Hon. Muyide Kayode, the party’s State Chairman, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, reportedly described the period as “a very important spiritual moment” for the Muslim adherents.
Babatunde commended the Muslim Ummah for the discipline, self-denials, and prayers for Nigeria, which he observed could not be quantified.
Also, he further commended what he called consistent support for the APC-led government in the Sunshine State, and urged them to mobilise their members massively for 2027 presidential election.
Calling for sustained prayers for the leaders and the nation, the Party Chairman assured the Muslim community of government patronage at all times.
His words, “Continuous prayers for peace, development of our land, and security of Nigeria are very essential.”
The party wishes Muslims in Ondo State, and indeed, Nigeria a wonderful celebration.
