One who truly seeks the Lord lives in the middle of hostility, hate and persecution.
The volition towards him from where he expects love is that of hostility, hate, and persecution.
Once he keeps to his path, which is lonesome, narrow and unpopular, rather than follow the popular path, he is usually made to face the consequences of his decision.
For as long as he keeps to this path and refuses to compromise, he is marked. The home and all its inhabitants, and everyone else close to him would be poisoned and instigated against him.
For this, hostility, hate and persecution of the worst kind would be unleashed on him, and directed at him full stream.
He would be starved of kindness, loving, supportive thoughts, wishes and consideration in all his endeavors
So no one shows genuine concern when he suffers heavy losses in his investments, when these ones fall into ruin, or when they do not prosper.
When they all successively fall into ruin amid unending hostility, hate and persecution from the most unexpected quarters.
And yet he needs to earn his living. He needs to live.
But he should not because of hostility and persecution of others drop his seeking, or turn away from his path, the only path to his freedom from the Darkness, to his salvation and ascent upwards towards the Light
Rejoice therefore, ye who today face hostility, hate and persecution because of your conviction in striving upwards.
For unto you will be granted victory at last over whatever opposed you, if you persevere, and turn your eyes confidently upwards to the Lord for help.
