Many speak and refer to love as if it is a mere feeling, but true love is displayed in ACTIONS inspired by a sense of pure sacrifice. The more conscious this sense of sacrifice is, the more it uplifts the person enveloped in its embrace.
When expressed in this way, the one who wishes to LOVE does not seek to TAKE, but GIVES, without seeking reciprocity or rewards, knowing that the sweetest rewards come back, definitely, from the spiritual order in Creation: THE LAW OF SOWING AND REAPING!
Love demands unconditional sowing of seeds of devotion, care, concern, dedication to all that would bring enduring blessings and joy to the object of the love. It is, simply put, devoted service!
Love eludes because many cling to its caricature, manicured and dressed up in manipulative attires of sensuous lures, cunning and sweet coated cliches, which always seek first to take and demand. With serpentine cunning, it pretends to give, but actually positions to selfishly devour every victim.
A taker eventually impoverishes himself/herself. A taker gets disconnected from the spiritual currents which bring blessings to mankind. Eventually he/she soon shrivels in isolation like the proverbial fig tree.
In short, to love demands caring and uplifting the other person, thing or place!
Those who are unable to express love, are indeed dead!
