Maybe you were among the mob in Golgotha. Or you were somewhere else in Palestine. Mocking the Lord and Saviour scornfully, as He was being nailed to the Cross.
Scoffing, yelling, and jeering at Him, as He hung in agony. In the burning sun bleeding, thirsty and hungry. Hurling derisive and painful words at Him, as He suffered undeservedly.
Maybe you stoned Him, kicked Him, ridiculed Him, tore His garments, poured filth, rained blows, abuses, and curses on Him, for Calling Himself the Son of God.
Maybe you whipped, slapped, or stabbed Him. Maybe you were the one who pressed the crown of thorns on His Head, or forced Him to drink.
Maybe you stood aloof from the mob as they were persecuting Him. Maybe you were the ring leader of this mob.
Maybe you were not part of the mob, but you were somewhere else in any of the other countries far and near, very hostile to His Teaching and Person.
