Continuatinueing from yesterday…
*Wisdom will tell you when to keep your mouth shut and when to pour out your heart and feelings.*
*Wisdom will compel you to keep your temperament under lock and key and when not to. After all, the word of God says:
*Proverbs 15:[2] “The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness”.*
*Another portion of God’s Word says:
*Proverbs 17:[7] “Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince”.*
*Wisdom will tell you when to keep your ideas preserved, waiting for an auspicious moment and when not :*
*Proverbs 10: [14] “Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.”*
*A man who has wisdom, will rule a city. But a man who lacks same, will lose control of himself. Yes, without wisdom,he won’t be able to take charge!*
*This is how important wisdom is.*
*Daniel was so gifted in wisdom that both friends and foes sought after what he knew :*
*Daniel 6: [3] “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm”.*
*Daniel was consulted at the time of war, and at the time of peace.*
*Eccl 7: [19] Wisdom strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty men which are in the city.*
*By wisdom, a slave became a ruler in a foreign land :*
*Genesis 41: [37]And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.*
*[38]And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?*
*[39]And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:*
*The above is a pointer to the fact that by wisdom, a foreigner can become a man sought after by rulers of other lands.*
*When the Bible calls something the “principal thing”, then don’t joke with that thing.*
*Wisdom is a life wire, it carries hot current with it.*
*Tomorrow God willing, we shall be looking at how to gather wisdom, how to gain wisdom, and how to grow wisdom.*
Top of the day to you
