The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile Oluji, FEDPOLY, Dr. Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku has charged the institution’s staff on utmost dedication to duty and quality service delivery.
He also admonished the students to renew their focus for improved academic performance and conduct themselves responsibly.
He gave the charge while welcoming the staff and students to the second week of the New Year.
Following is the full Rector’s Charge, signed by him, and titled “Utmost Dedication to Duty and Commitment to Quality Service Delivery”:
“I welcome you all with deep gratitude to Almighty God to the second week of the year 2026.
“The dawn of a new year does not only offer an avenue for fresh beginning, but also a renewed opportunity to reflect, reposition, and recommit ourselves to excellence.
“As an Institution dedicated to academic excellence, innovation, and character development, we should embrace this year with a spirit of unity, resilience and purpose. I charge every member of this Polytechnic Community to remain steadfast in upholding discipline, integrity, professionalism, and mutual respect in all our engagements and relationships.
“To our academic and non-teaching staff, I encourage you all to continue to demonstrate utmost dedication to duty, commitment to quality service delivery, and openness to continuous improvement. Your role in moulding minds and sustaining institutional growth remains invaluable.
“I seize this medium to heartily congratulate all the newly promoted staff as well as those who have been converted to new cadres or re-designated with new job titles. Your hard work, diligence and perseverance had made this possible. Please, keep up the zeal!
“To our dear students, I admonish you all to renew your focus for improved academic performance in your studies. Conduct yourselves responsibly and tap from the window of opportunities available to excel in your studies, and be worthy ambassadors of this great citadel of learning.
“In passing, I wish to remind us that admissions exercise for 2025/2026 Academic Session is still in progress. Let us circulate this information and encourage prospective admission seekers to choose our Institution as their preferred destination of study for both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes.
“On a final note, I wish to reiterate that the continued growth and stability of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji is sacrosanct. It is, therefore, the responsibility of everyone to ensure that peace-building, tranquility and harmony remain our watchword at all times.
