According to him, “The Nigerian crime situation requires drastic action and strategic measures. The President’s swift response in the Benin Republic shows that with determination and effective leadership, security challenges can be managed.

“It is important that sensitive security positions are placed in the hands of competent individuals to ensure the safety of our nation.”

“Governor Adeleke has done remarkably well, and his efforts are visible to the people of Osun State. I encourage him to continue in this direction for the benefit of all.”

The event, which begins at 3 pm and continues into the following day, is designed to give attendees an opportunity to encounter the Lord through prayers, worship, and spiritual ministrations.
He emphasized that the programme provides a platform for collective prayer for peace, unity, and the spiritual purification of the nation.
He called on journalistts to participate in the prayers for divine protection and guidance throughout the year and beyond, urging them to use their platforms responsibly in promoting positive messages of unity and peace.
He said, “The African Marathon Praise is not just a celebration; it is a spiritual gathering meant to inspire, uplift, and mobilize the people of God to pray for the nation,
“We are hopeful that through these prayers, Nigeria will experience lasting peace, security, and unity, just as we have seen the President take decisive action to safeguard regional stability.”
The event saw participation from religious leaders, community representatives, and members of the public, all joining in fervent prayer and worship to bless the nation and its leaders, while seeking divine intervention in addressing both local and national challenges.
