Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, has described the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Olanipekun Oyetunji, Laroye II, as an exemplary monarch and a transformational leader.
He said this n a statement by his spokesman, Olawale Rasheed, felicitating with the monarch on his 15th anniversary on the throne.
Besides, he said the royal father exemplifies selfless and transformational leadership.
Adeleke lauded the monarch’s unwavering commitment to peace and harmony, attributing much of Osogbo’s socio-economic progress over the past 15 years to Oba Olanipekun’s remarkable leadership and ability to unite diverse interests for collective advancement.
He commended the monarch’s strong sense of purpose and readiness to collaborate on initiatives that promote growth and development, not only in Osogbo, but in Osun State as a whole.
The governor acknowledged Oba Olanipekun’s instrumental role in facilitating impactful projects and creating opportunities for his people.
He said, “I heartily felicitate with the Ataoja of Osogbo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, Laroye II, as he marks the 15th anniversary of his ascension to the throne of his forebears.
“On this special occasion, I join people from all walks of life to celebrate a life defined by service and dedication.
“Oba Olanipekun remains not only a shining example of patriotic leadership, but also a monarch who consistently prioritizes the wellbeing and development of his subjects and community.”
The Governor prayed for continued grace, good health, and a long, impactful reign for the Ataoja, to the benefit of Osogbo, Osun State, and humanity at large.
