Aiyedatiwa appoints TESCOM board members, SITA chairman

In a move to reposition Ondo State’s education sector for greater efficiency and improved service delivery, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has constituted a new board for the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM).

Also,  the Governor appointed his Senior Special Assistant on Information Technology, Tomide Akinribido, as the Executive Chairman of the State Information Technology Agency (SITA).

A statement on Tuesday by the governor’s spokesman, Ebenezer Adeniyan, announced the new TESCOM board made of full and part time members.

It listed the newly appointed TESCOM board members as:

  •  Mrs. Oluwadaisi Oke – Chairman;
  • Hon. Ajani Oladipupo – Member (Full-time);
  • Mrs. Titilayo Fayoriju – Member (Full-time);
  • Mrs. Ojuolape Flora Adeyemi – Member (Full-time);
  • Alhaji Isiaka O. Usman – Member (Full-time);
  • Chairman, ASSUT – Member (Part-time);
  • Chairman, PTA – Member (Part-time);
  • Representative, Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning – Member (Part-time);
  • Representative, Ministry of Education – Member (Part-time); and
  • Representative, Ministry of Finance – Member (Part-time).

Aiyedatiwa said the appointments reflect his administration’s commitment to good governance, institutional strengthening and the advance of OUR EASE development agenda.

He further urged the appointees to deploy their knowledge and professional competence in the discharge of their duties for the overall benefit of the state.
