Osun State

A  governorship aspirant  under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has expressed deep concern over alleged infrastructural challenges facing the state,

He promised to redress the perceived deficit if given the opportunity to serve at the coming governorship election.

Oyebamiji, or any other aspirant who emerges the APC flag-bearer in the party’s coming primary, will contest with the incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke, who will fly the flag of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for his reelection  for a second term in office.

Speaking after an extensive consultation tour across 21 local government areas, Oyebamiji shared his observations and sentiments, noting the strong desire for change among the people.

“Having moved across more than 21 local governments, I can confidently say that Osun is in dire need of infrastructural development. The gaps are glaring, and our people deserve better. I want to assure them that addressing these issues will be a priority,” he stated.

Oyebamiji also expressed gratitude and optimism over the warm reception and enthusiasm he received during his consultations.

“I’m overwhelmed by the level of preparedness and determination I’ve seen. The people are ready. They want to take governance away from the PDP and hand it over to the APC. Their passion is inspiring, and it strengthens our resolve to work even harder.”

He further emphasized the unity within the APC, especially among aspirants, noting that collective interest supersedes individual ambition.

“All APC aspirants have agreed to support whoever our leaders eventually choose to fly the party’s flag. There is no division. Once the decision is made, we will all unite behind our candidate to ensure victory.”

Oyebamiji praised the popularity of Ambo, referring to him as a beloved figure who represents hope for many Osun residents.

“The people love Ambo. They want him to lead. The support is massive, and we won’t disappoint them. We will work hard to justify the trust and confidence they’ve placed in us.”
