Departed Hon Cecilia Fayase
A member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing Ilaje Constituency II and Chairman, House Committee on Culture and Tourism, Hon Princess Olawumi Fayemi-Obayelu has consoled the family of a departed member of the assembly, Hon Cecilia Fayase, over her passage.
On her condolence letter, she expresses her “heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Hon. Cecelia Fayase, a distinguished former female lawmaker in Ondo State.”
She described Hon. Fayase’s passing as “a great loss not only to her family but to the entire Ondo State political community, especially women in politics who saw her as a beacon of courage and commitment.”
According to her, “Hon. Fayase was a trailblazer, a woman of strength and integrity who served her people with dedication and left an indelible mark in the history of our legislative institution”.
She prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and for strength and comfort for the bereaved family during this difficult time.
“May the legacy she left behind continue to inspire all of us in public service”, Princess Olawumi added.
