“Captain Rasheedat Ajibade’s performance was nothing short of exceptional. Her leadership, talent, and passion on the field are a great inspiration to the next generation, especially young girls across Nigeria. She has made Osun proud,” he added.

The APC chieftain linked the Super Falcons’ success to the ongoing positive reforms under the Tinubu-led administration, noting that the Renewed Hope Agenda continues to yield results across key sectors, particularly in youth and sports development.

“This victory is not just a win for football; it’s a testament to the bold, strategic vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His administration has consistently prioritized youth and sports, and this win is a reflection of those investments,” he said.

Oyebamiji urged Nigerians to continue supporting the nation’s teams and build on the momentum of national pride.
