Osun commissioners pass confidence vote in Adeleke

All the commissioners in Osun State have passed a unanimous vote of confidence in Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, declaring their unwavering loyalty and to his leadership and development agenda.

They took the stand under the banner of Osun State Commissioners Forum, at a strategic meeting held in Osogbo, where commissioners across various ministries reviewed the prevailing political climate and addressed growing speculations about the governor’s political future.

The session was chaired by the Forum’s Chairman, Aare Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa Asejere.

At the end, they issued a communiqué reaffirmining their firm alignment with Adeleke regardless of political party considerations.

It was signed by Aare Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa Asejere, Chairman of the Forum, and Barr. Dosu Babatunde, Secretary.

According to the communique: “We, the members of the Osun State Commissioners’ Forum, having thoroughly deliberated on current political developments, hereby reaffirm our absolute confidence in the visionary, inclusive, and people-oriented leadership of His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.

“We have resolved that wherever our Governor leads, we shall follow. Our loyalty lies with the people of Osun State, and we believe Governor Adeleke remains the most credible and capable leader to drive the state’s progress.”

The Forum also expressed strong backing for the Governor’s ongoing political consultations, pledging to uphold the core values and goals of the administration under the Imole mandate.

“As cabinet members, we are united and fully committed to the progressive transformation agenda championed by Governor Adeleke. We are Imole till 2030 and beyond,” the statement added.

Political analysts say the declaration marks a major consolidation of internal support for Governor Adeleke as he continues to shape the state’s political trajectory through people-focused governance.
