Israel and the Covenant

As I was saying…as my boss, Allah-De for some years now, of blessed memory, was wont to say — for how much longer will the world have to wait to see peace restored to the Middle East. Mr. Donald Trump believes after his meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister, that what has been achieved goes beyond the peace of the graveyard in the region. The airwaves, the digital and print media, indeed the media in general, were filled with announcements of a hope-filled meeting billed for last Monday between Mr. Trump and Mr. Netanyahu over conflicts in both Iran and Gaza. The meeting did take place. But on Wednesday, as if to complicate matters and remind us of the nature of these times, Russia bombed Ukraine and Mr. Trump gave Moscow serious warnings that the US would now throw its full weight behind Ukraine. Be that as it may, the signs are there that the conflicts in the Middle East are far from being over. Mr. Trump’s goal is to keep Iran weak and for Gaza, Israel is pressing for a surrender of power and abdication of leadership by the Hamas. That is not all, they should leave Gaza completely, and make room for international governance in Gaza Strip, a condition similar to what Israel forced on Palestinian Liberation Organization and its leader, Yasser Arafat in 1982. PLO and Yasser Arafat had to leave on exile from Lebanon to Tunisia. Israel is also demanding that it should have free movement in the event of the need for a military operation.

Netanyahu in a triumphal tone said the combined strikes on Iran by the United States and Israel last month succeeded in removing tumours in that country, by which he meant Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programmes. To prevent any potential development of cancer, he added, the situation has to be regularly monitored. “No question, this is a historic victory…we changed the face of the Middle East, he said at the meeting with Mr. Trump. Netanyahu went on, “We have an opportunity to create here a historic expansion of the Abraham Accords…I’d like to believe Iran will not test our fortitude. It would be a mistake.”

On the same day Mr. Netanyahu was boasting, the military adviser to the Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said his country’s military capability in terms of missiles and drones is intact. Mr. Trump said that in the U.S. air strikes and Israel’s bombing, key Iranian nuclear sites were destroyed and nuclear scientists and military personnel were killed. He believes Iran must desire peace now, but if that is not the case, the U.S. “is ready, willing and able.” In the case of the Hamas, Mr. Trump is pressing for a 60-day ceasefire between them and Israel, and exchange of hostages, 10 Israelis and 18 bodies the former are keeping, and release of Palestinians in the Israel’s jails. The negotiation is also asking for the withdrawal of Israeli troops from some parts of Gaza. Despite the bleak picture, U.S. officials are, however, optimistic.

As some, particularly in higher echelon of the Israeli Establishment focus on war and boast on the precision of arsenals as their strength, there are other Jews that are reconsidering where lies Israel’s vaunted strength. They remember their history, who they are and the pristine promises to the children of Israel. The Jerusalem Post provides a fascinating glimpse of these, and into the true strength of the Jews. In an article captioned: “Who saved Israel from Iran? “God”,  the author states in what bows any stirring spirit as follows:

“Behind every Iron Dome interception, every Stealth bomber sortie, every classified operation deep in enemy territory—there is a guiding hand.”

The publication continues, “In the wake of the stunning success of the coordinated attacks by Israel and the United States on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, it is easy to bask in the glow of military prowess and technological sophistication.

“After all, the world just witnessed what determination, precision, and bold leadership can achieve when facing an existential threat. Fordow, Isfahan, Natanz—all names that once struck dread—are now synonymous with a decisive demonstration of strength.

“But as the headlines celebrate the strike, the pundits dissect the strategy, and the world recalibrates its stance toward Iran’s ambitions, we must not forget the One without Whom none of this would have been possible: the Almighty Himself.

“The miracles of our age do not always come in the form of a sea splitting in two or manna falling from Heaven.

“Sometimes they come concealed in F-35s, embedded in cyberwarfare, or implanted in bunker-busting munition. But make no mistake: It is God who grants wisdom to our planners, courage to our soldiers, and confusion to our enemies. And it is He who has delivered us.

“This is not a new idea. In the Psalms, King David reminds us, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we invoke the Name of the Lord our God.” (Psalms 20:8). Time and again in our history, we have been saved not by the might of our arms but by the mercy of Heaven. From the Six Day War to the rescue at Entebbe, the Jewish people have lived through miracles cloaked in military uniforms. The recent strike on Iran is no exception. That Israel could reach deep into Iranian territory, eviscerate Iran’s air defences, and damage heavily fortified nuclear sites, while potentially setting back Tehran’s genocidal ambitions without triggering a regional conflagration is a feat that defies natural explanation.

“Sure, it is easy to chalk this up to Israeli ingenuity or American air superiority. And this is not meant to take anything away from the heroic warriors who went into battle or the sacrifices they made. But we must be honest with ourselves: This was salvation. God saved us from a nuclear-armed regime bent on our destruction.

“On June 22, in an address to the nation about the raid on Iran, US President Donald Trump said: ‘We love you, God.’ Before asking Him to protect the American military. He said it, not as a perfunctory sound bite but with the emotion and sincerity that so often cut through political noise.

“In that moment, he reminded millions that belief in God is not a sign of weakness but of clarity. It is a declaration that we are not the masters of our own fate, that our power is borrowed, and that gratitude must always accompany victory.

“For Israel, a nation that owes its very rebirth to prophecy fulfilled, this perspective is essential. We are not just another state with an army and a foreign ministry. We are the living embodiment of a covenant, and everything we do –including defending ourselves should be infused with that awareness.

“When military achievements become idols or defence budgets become a golden calf, we risk forgetting who truly protects us. And history shows us where that leads. The generation of the desert, who saw miracles daily, still faltered when they forgot the source of their blessings.

“In Deuteronomy, Moses warns: ‘And you will say in your heart, “My own power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.” But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to gain wealth’ (Deut. 8: 17-18). Substitute ‘security’ for ‘wealth,’ And the lesson remains chillingly relevant.

“So let us take this moment not only to thank our soldiers and leaders but also to give thanks to the Creator. And let our leaders—in both Jerusalem and Washington—acknowledge that their success was not solely theirs.

“This is not to diminish the bravery or brilliance of those involved. Quite the opposite. It is to elevate their work by placing it in the correct context.

“In the aftermath of the attack on Iran, let us make sure to recall that while we are blessed to have an army, our real shield is God. Let us remember that when we walk with Him, we need not fear the shadows. And let us carry this gratitude into action –with stronger faith and a more unified nation.

“Because when the next challenge comes-and it undoubtedly will—stealth bombers or cyber units alone will not save us. It will be the same force that saved Abraham from the fiery furnace and the Children of Israel from Egypt that will deliver us.

“The One Who never slumbers nor sleeps still watches over His people. And in this miraculous moment, we would do well to remember that.”

Michael Freund, the author of the article, served as Deputy Communications Director under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The awakening evidently taking place among the Jews must be elating for those who are familiar with the history of who the Jews are, where they are coming from and what Grace they were permitted and the unmatched opportunities they had in the time of yore and which they bungled. The attendant opening up will enable them retrace their steps and come to beneficial recognition. It will rekindle the imperative of reflection and seeking higher goals by a great many given the influence of Israel among the generality of mankind. You are either for or against Israel! Those who do not want to get involved can only be a minority who stand in higher knowledge!

As I stated last week, the Jews are special people. They had long had the conviction in One Eternal God Jehovah, the Creator of all the worlds. With this, Light Rays streamed to the land. This made them to surpass all contemporary nations. Through them, we recognise three epochs, three Ages and three Testaments in the history and development in the journey of mankind, that is, the history that is spanned by three Messages of God. We have the Age of the Father, the Age of the Son and the Age of the Holy Spirit. Put succinctly, The Age of the Father began with Abraham and lasted until the coming of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. It is The Old Testament which reveals the Justice of God, revealed in the history of the People of Israel in which they, and by extension all mankind, were taught that men must ever and always reap the fruits of their deeds, the Age that witnessed the coming of the Prophets and Teachers of mankind to proclaim the Justice of God. The Jews before then had been permitted the knowledge of the Laws as contained in The Ten Commandments mediated by Moses.

With the Age of the Son came the revelation of the Love of God, through the Mission of the Lord Jesus Christ, the helping Love, the all-embracing and severe Love of God, according to Ernest Schmitt, a knowing one and French author. Connected with the Age of the Son was the coming of Prophet Mohammed (571 A.D.) sent by God to the people of Arabia to teach them and by extension mankind the Will of God by which alone human beings can realise the purpose of their existence

Now, mankind is in the Age of the Holy Spirit who is the Will and Justice of God, and like the Lord Jesus is a Personality, the Son of Man and is a Part of the Holy Trinity, by name Imanuel, first proclaimed by Isaiah and Daniel. In this Age of the Holy Spirit, mankind is taught to recognise the Perfection of God, embracing the Truth of the two previous Messages of God, that is the Old and New Testaments, and the revelation of the Son of Man that releases the Last Judgment. His is the everlasting Testament, according to Dr. Stephen Lampe, in his invaluable work, The Spirit of Truth Brings the Everlasting Testament,

Dr. Stephen Lampe asks: Who is this Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is like Jesus, a Personality, and Like Jesus, a Part of the Trinity. He is the Spirit of Truth requested by Jesus. As recorded in the Gospel of John, the Spirit of Truth is to teach us everything, guide us into all the Truth including what Jesus could not teach in His own time because people would not have understood. He will glorify Jesus, remind us of His true teachings in their undistorted forms and be the witness of His true Mission. Indeed, the Spirit of Truth will consolidate and complete the Mission of Jesus.”

Being the first to gain the recognition of one God and permitted to know His Will through the Ten Commandments mediated to Moses, the people of Israel were set apart. They were especially blessed and prepared for the incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ in their midst. With the Lord living and traversing the whole land, Light power was anchored in the Land. They greeted the Lord with hostilities. Despite the stirring in the souls of a handful of them, they did not grasp the blessings; they had dimmed their spiritually receptive faculty.

In the enlightenment of these times mediated in the unique Work, In the Light of Truth, the Grail Message, by Abd-ru-shin, it is revealed:

“John the Baptist, who today is still regarded as truly Called man by all the Christian churches, found his greatest adversaries among the Scribes and Pharisees, who at the time imagined themselves to be the most highly called to judge over this matter.

“The people of Israel were themselves Called at that time. There is no doubt about that! In their midst the Son of God was to accomplish His Mission on earth. Accordingly, the priests of the nation should also at the time have been the most highly Called Ones to baptise! But in spite of this John the Baptist had to come so that, as the only Called One, he could baptise the Son of God in His earthly vessel at the beginning of His actual Mission on earth. The Called One, John the Baptist, who was not acknowledged by the existing high priest of the Called people, described his adversaries as a “generation of vipers”! He denied them the right to come to him!
“Nor did these same high priests of the then Called people even recognize the Son of God Himself! They persecuted Him ceaselessly and worked for His earthly destruction, because He was superior to them and therefore a source of trouble.”

In the end they brutally did away with the Son of God, who showed the way to peace, the Redeemer and Saviour of Mankind. How enheartening it would be if the Jews were to awaken and open themselves to recognise the Source of their blessings, their protection and of these times Isaiah and Daniel were granted the Grace to prophesy!

It is important for all human beings to recognise the Age in which we are, the Age of Everlasting Covenant, the Age of the Holy Spirit, the Age of Imanuel, Who is Justice of God, thus the End- Time, thus of the Last Judgment.

Dr. Lampe says: “The dramatic changes and the unusual events around the world are effects of the spiritual transformation that will lead to a complete purification and the enthronement of the Will of God on earth. In the meantime, all the evil tendencies in us are flaring up so that we may all be seen for what we really are. We can no longer deceive people for long. As our hidden evil propensities and weaknesses are compelled to reveal themselves, we are provided opportunities to amend and to make permanent improvements.”
