The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State has congratulated the party’s newly inaugurated Southwest Zonal Executive Committee, led by Barrister Kamoru Ajisafe (Kosolowoe).

It described Ajisafe’s emergence as a “breath of fresh air and a beacon of resuscitated hope,” as it expressed strong optimism in his ability to reinvigorate PDP’s structure in the region.

In a statement by its state chairman, Hon. Sunday Bisi, the PDP said that Ajisafe’s appointment reflects the party’s commitment to entrusting leadership roles to visionary, tested, and trusted individuals with a passion for repositioning the party for future success.

It said, “His antecedents in public service and party organization assure us of his capacity to reposition the zone for greater cohesion, electoral victories, and strategic direction.

“We are confident that his leadership will usher in an era of unity, discipline, and revival of grassroots strength across the six states of the region”.

Also, it congratulated all newly inaugurated members of the zonal executive committee, commending the collective depth of experience and political acumen within the team.

“We hope this leadership will prioritize reconciliation, grassroots mobilization, and strategic engagement across all states, with a clear focus on delivering electoral victories in upcoming contests,” Bisi added.

Reaffirming its commitment, the Osun PDP pledged full cooperation with the zonal leadership in pursuing a shared vision of regional progress and national resurgence.

“Once again, we congratulate Barrister Kamoru Ajisafe and the entire Southwest Zonal Executive Committee. May your tenure be marked by impactful leadership, fruitful partnerships, and resounding victories for our party,” the statement said.
