Rather than the hatred of the past, now I choose to embrace you in love.
Rather than the bitterness of the past, now I will give you honey, and spread this around you and the earth.
Rather than the thoughts of vengeance, or feeling bad about my experiences in the prevailing circumstances, I choose to show understanding and maturity.
The wound inflicted by either you or me in the past, now I choose to heal.
Now, it no longer matters to me who, between the two of us, inflicted the wound; who was once the source of pain, suffering, sorrow or anguish: the guilt which developed into the karmic ties which bound us together, the hidden connections of the old which now brought us together, which compelled us to meet now in the present circumstances, once again, to settle accounts.
Regardless of whatever comes to me from you now, of whatever you now decide in your wisdom and power to favour me with, only love shall flow from me towards you.
I choose to show gratitude deeply from within me, that I was granted this wonderful opportunity to cross your path, cleanse and redeem myself of the burdensome guilt of the old, and move forward.
