The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Prof. Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, has added another feather to his cap as he was conferred with the prestigious fellowship award of the Institute of Management Consultants(IMC) of Nigeria on Wednesday, 23rd May,2018 in Lagos.
This was contained in a statement by the institution\’s Head, Information, Protocol and Passages, Mr Sanmi Enigbokan.
The well-attended event took place at the Chinese Restaurant, Airport Hotel, Ikeja with dignitaries drawn from all walks of life.
He bagged the award in recognition of his \” outstanding academic and professional standing and demonstrated commitment to creating, maintaining,extending and promoting the highest world standards of management consulting practice, ethics, competence and client service\” in Nigeria.
While bestowing on him the award, the Director-General of the Institute, Prof. David Iornem, lauded the recipient for his sterling leadership qualities and managerial skills in steering the affairs of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji which has resulted in the Institution becoming a cynosure of academic excellence in Nigeria within a short period of its existence.
Responding, Fasakin thanked the Institute for the honour bestowed on him and there after dedicated the award to the \”Fedpolel family\”, saying to \” God be the glory\”.
With this fellowship award, Fasakin can now include the insignia \”FIMC\” with his name. He has also attained the CMC status i.e.Certified Management Consultant, which is the highest qualification attainable by any management consultant in Nigeria.
Highlights of the auspicious event include CMC Certification Workshop, Syndicate Group Discussion as well as Membership/Fellowship Induction.
The Institute of Management Consultants is an approved and registered body of professional management consultants empowered to regulate the standards and practice of management consulting in Nigeria.
Over 35 participants were inducted into the membership and fellowship of the Institute at the event.
