28 Osun students with CPGA 4 and above bag scholarships

Twenty eight students of Osun State College of Education with CPGA 4 and above have bagged scholarship awards from some companies which were impressed with their superlative performance.

They are:

The scholarship awards givers are the Chairman of Araj Group of Companies, Engr. Raji Kehinde Ayoola; MD/CEO Veracity Petroleum Ltd, Mr. Gbenga Adebayo; GMD Ibbds Group of Companies, Mr Dauda Oladele; and Chairman Adeoye Group International, Alhaji Nurudeen A. Oyetunde.

Following is the breakdown of the awards given:

  • Engnr Raji Kehinde Ayoola, Chairman of Araj Group of Companies – 10 students with CGPA 4.0 and above;
  • Mr. Gbenga Adebayo, MD/CEO Veracity Petroleum Ltd) – 8 female students with CGPA of 4.0 and above;
  • Mr Dauda Oladele, GMD Ibbds Group of Companies – 10 students with CPGA of 4 and above; and
  • Alhaji Nurudeen A. Oyetunde, Chairman Adeoye Group International

Also Hon. (Engr.) Sunday Olowu MNSE pledged to give 10 indigent students from Oriade and Ibokun Local Government areas full scholarship awards.

The award presentation ceremony, organized by the College of Education of Osun State University, Ipeju-Ijesa campus, also featured the presentation of a distinguished award to Hon. (Engr) Sunday Olowu MNSE, while Dr. Florence Adeleke received the Provost Award of Excellent Performance.

In attendance at the annual event were scholars, educators, academics and policy makers, traditional rulers and stakeholders who are passionate about teaching and learning in the 21st century.
