Ondo State Government has reaffirmed the state’s commitment to supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in  the 2027 presidential election.

The Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Hon. Idowu Ajanaku, made the pledge on behalf of the state government during a media engagement with journalists following the just concluded APC National Convention in Abuja.

He said Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as the leader of the party in the state has pledged unwavering support for the President’s re-election bid.

Ajanaku noted that Ondo State delivered the highest votes for President Tinubu across the South-West in the last election, expressing confidence that the state would surpass that performance in 2027.

According to him, the Governor has assured party stakeholders of intensified mobilization efforts to double the feat, reinforcing the All Progressives Congress’ dominance in the state.

He congratulated members of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State and nationwide, describing the convention as a demonstration of unity, strength, and readiness for future elections. He emphasized that the successful gathering has further positioned the party for victory, particularly in the 2027 presidential poll.

Highlighting the rationale for continued support, Ajanaku cited key infrastructural interventions by the Federal Government, including the 71- Kilometer Ondo portion of the ongoing Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road project, the ongoing construction of Ore-Ondo Road, Ondo Sea Port, among others.

He stressed that these developments have significantly impacted the state’s economic prospects and justified sustained backing for the President.

Ajanaku extended heartfelt birthday congratulations to President Tinubu on behalf of Governor Aiyedatiwa, the Ondo State Government, and the good people of the State, wishing him long life, sound health, and greater wisdom in steering the affairs of the nation.
