Osun Progressive People’s Forum (OPPF), a foremost socio-political group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has assured citizens that a gubernatorial aspirant, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji,AMBO, would lead the state to “the most enviable heights ever known in its history” if elected in 2026.

Speaking during a special interdenominational prayer session organized to mark his 60th birthday at the Ilerioluwa Campaign Office in Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo, OPPF State Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Abiona, praised the aspirant’s consistency, strategic consultations, and readiness to wrestle power from the incumbent administration.

While acknowledging the competence of all APC governorship hopefuls, Abiona insisted that Oyebamiji stands out as “first among equals,” citing his verifiable achievements in both the public and private sectors.

He urged APC leaders across the state to rally behind Oyebamiji and adopt him as the party’s flag-bearer, describing him as the most marketable candidate ahead of the 2026 elections.

“AMBO is a household name today. His competence, proven capacity, and solid track record make him the most prepared to take Osun forward. We are calling on our leaders to look in our direction and give him the ticket. We are fully ready to return APC to power next year,” Abiona declared.

He added that OPPF members have already commenced massive grassroots mobilization, working from polling units to wards and local governments to secure victory for Oyebamiji in both the primaries and the general election.
