The General Overseer in charge of The Way of Holiness Chapel (TWHC) Pastor Johnson Falade, has predicted that it has been revealed to him that the 2019 general elections would be free, fair and devoid of violence.

Falade, who is also a senior lecturer at the Department of Linguistic Studies, Adeyemi College of Education (ACE) Ondo, gave his prediction recently in Ondo city shortly after delivering his opening charge as part of the activities marking the annual convention, held at the headquarters of the church.

Speaking further on the election, the cleric who stated that the prophesy concerning what the outcome of the exercise would be was shown to him in a vision he received during a seven-day convention recently organised in his church in Ondo.

While assuring the people of the country that the exercise would hold peacefully, Falade, advised those exercising fear of possible outbreak of violence to perish the thought as it has been shown to him that the election would be devoid of any crisis or rancour.

His words: “Though, I am not a politician and I will never be, I have been praying for someone chosen by God that will rule the country according to the will of God. God has revealed to me that the election would be free, fair and devoid of war during and after the conduct of the exercise. Let me also tell you this, the wishes of the people of Nigeria will prevail without leading to any violence.”

The cleric who also warned politicians to desist from using abusing words and languages during their campaigns, noted that politics is not only all about bringing the opposition down, but a service to humanity at large.

Quoting several biblical passages to support his points, he called on the relevant stakeholders in the country to continue to obey God’s Commandments, stating that it is only He Who appoints persons into positions of authority without leading to violence or rancour.

Reiterating the readiness of his ministry to continue to pray for harmony, development and peace to continue to reign in Nigeria, the religious leader equally appealed to all the heads of security agencies operating in the country to redouble their efforts ahead of the forthcoming elections.
