The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Osun State has discharged 1,808 corps members after the successful completion of the 2025 Batch A, Stream I service year.
The Passing-Out ceremony, described as low-key, took place simultaneously across all Local Government Areas of the state, according to a statement from the official Facebook page of Osun NYSC.
The State Coordinator, Mr. Ekeng Kubiangha, urged the outgoing corps members to continue to uphold discipline, patriotism, and good virtues as they transition into the next phase of their lives.
Out of the 1,834 corps members deployed to Osun State, 914 were male and 894 female.
Thirteen corps members absconded during the service year, while 12 others had their service extended due to various infractions, in line with NYSC bye-laws.
Mr. Kubiangha emphasized that these measures ensure accountability and reinforce the integrity of the national service programme, while commending the corps members for their dedication and contributions to community development throughout the year.
The NYSC in Osun State continues to encourage corps members to maintain the values of the scheme and positively impact their communities as they move forward.
